Welcome to Ponderosa Paradise, a serene and spacious canal adjacent getaway surrounded by old growth Ponderosa Pines. Far enough outside of town to have space and peace but close enough to take an Uber to downtown Bend or order Doordash. This artists' space contains a unique mix of rustic and modern style complete with vaulted ceilings and tons of natural light. Pick some apples from our trees, sip coffee on the deck, or read a book on the couch. This unique vacation rental space has it all!

LOCATION!

The Deschutes River Woods neighborhood is a well-kept locals' secret for better access to Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort for the Ponderosa Pines pet friendly (dogs only!) Bend Oregon vacation rental.  Just exit the neighborhood and hop on the parkway going South to go through Sunriver for less stress and faster travel to the mountain for snowboarding, skiing and downhill riding than going through town and up Century Drive.  Many hiking trails and mountain biking are just short miles away.  Just a couple of miles down Brookswood Road takes you by the Brookswood Plaza that has the foodie's CJ Lovejoy's market, pharmacy, Meadowlark restaurant, Cabin 22 South, veterinarian office, pilates studio and coffee house.  Continue along Brookswood Road to the Old Mill Shopping Center which is just seven miles from the house and a couple more to downtown Bend.  Just nine miles total to downtown Bend for shopping, restaurants and more.

Stretch out and relax in this five bedroom, three bathroom spacious artistic retreat.  Ponderosa Paradise offers an open spacious  living room with high vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan, a comfortable sofa and two chairs, 50 in. screen smart TV and a sliding glass door that leads to the natural landscaped backyard with long deck equipped with a barbecue and propane.  Hang out on the back deck and barbecue til your heart's content while listening to the canal that runs seasonally.  Don't be surprised if you see deer drinking from the canal river flow!

The upper level large sunny king main suite with a 50" smart TV and ceiling fan is open and spacious, with a sliding glass window that opens up to a long balcony complete with lounging chairs to take in the serenity of the flowing canal and Ponderosa Pines. The king guest suite with a 50" smart TV is also located on the upper level. The full guest room has a 40 in vintage TV with a vintage Nintendo and VHS with extensive library of videos and games along with the cool zen den with pillows complete with blacklights.  The upper level guest bathroom has a tub and shower combination with vanity.  The upper level twin guest bed is located in the large movie projector room with full sized screen, movie projector, two comfortable sofas and large bean bag to kick back on.

The queen guest room is located on the lower level with a guest bathroom next to it.  A large laundry room with washer, dryer and folding table are available for your use.

The unfenced one acre property offers privacy, a get away from it all with great access to all that Bend offers.  Ample off-street parking on the property for all of your toys, just ask!

Bring Fido for $20 per night per pet with prior approval and pet rent paid.  Pet amenities include a 26 x 38 dog bed, 6 ft. sturdy dog leash, large food and water bowls and refuse baggies.

Pet Rules

Pet rent per night is $20, with prior approval, DOGS ONLY!
Pick up pet refuse, $50 minimum fee will be charged if pet refuse is left for us to pick up
Never leave your dog unattended inside or outside the home, either crate or take Fido with you!  Bend loves dogs, we have provided a leash for your use
Never allow your dog on ANY of the furniture  dog bed is provided), extra cleaning fees will be charged to launder and clean furniture
No barking after 10 p.m., bring your loved one inside

 

We prefer electronic checks or checks and accept Visa, Mastercard or Discover cards.
The 12.2% lodging tax of rent applies to all reservations as well as cleaning fees.
Check In is 4 p.m. Check Out is 11 a.m., no early check ins or late check outs
An Accidental Damage Protection fee of $69 per reservation (non-refundable) for up to $1,500 accidental damage for accidents that are not consider malicious

Dogs with Prior Approval Only. $20 ret rent per night per dog.
